The new NEO IV series from Gallien Krueger features a lightweight plywood construction with plenty of reinforcements that create an extremely sturdy enclosure.

The interior is covered with a damping material to absorb high frequencies from the back of the speaker, preventing them from exiting the port and interfering with the high frequencies from the front of the speaker.

The result is a smooth and pleasant high-end response. A metal grille and heavy-duty liner with metal corners ensure an enclosure that will stand up to heavy use and maintain its beautiful appearance over time. The new NEO IV series incorporates custom neodymium woofers designed and manufactured by GK. Die-cast frames are used exclusively, offering greater durability and better power handling. The voice coils use an aluminum ribbon wire wound around the edges, which, compared to the more common round wire, makes it a much more efficient speaker with better power handling. The NEO IV also has a true crossover and a system to protect the tweeter against excessive power surges. Available in 8 ohms.
