The Yamaha Disklavier is the indispensable tool for memorizing your work, or your children's first steps , which you'll be able to listen to again and again with excitement.
Based on the principle of pneumatic pianos, Disklavier technology makes your piano interactive.
Playful and attractive, your instrument plays itself and reproduces, as if by magic, the interpretations of the greatest pianists.
- Headphone jacks enable silent playing with headphones
- USB TO HOST input lets you connect a computer or other digital device and record in high quality without the need for additional interfaces,
- AUX OUT or OUTPUT and OUT jacks let you output the signal to external amplification (Hi-fi system, Recorder, powered speakers, etc.).
- The AUX IN input receives external sound sources.
- The DIGITAL OUT socket connects to a digital input jack on an external audio device
- MIDI OUTPUT transmits playing information to an external device such as a synth.
- MIDI IN receives playing information as a sequencer for use with the Disklavier system's tone generator.
- The LAN port enables internet connection with the Disklavier.
Performances can be recorded in two different ways:
- Either you can record directly into the piano's memory.
Using the memory is more interesting when you want to listen to yourself directly. It allows you to work on a piece by listening to yourself and then repeating particular passages.
- Or on USB media, in which case the stored data will be in WAV format readable by all digital devices.
Once the tracks have been saved in WAV format, they can be written directly to CD or portable players.
