A Schimmel "Dynamic soundbar" or "Dynamikstab" is attached to the Soundboard during manufacture. This ensures maximum sound dynamics as well as the richest timbres and long-lasting notes, even in the pianissimo range.
The Soundboard made of mountain spruce is of the highest quality, sourced exclusively from Bavarian and Bohemian forests. The selected wood is perfect, grown slowly and at high altitude.
Hammerheads are made from the highest quality Merino wool using a traditional fulling process in Germany. The result is a Wealth of tonal colors in different dynamic ranges.
