Specification
The Evah Pirazzi Slap set is a unique blend of modern and traditional base materials, combining a single gut L and R with a synthetic chrome steel core A and E wound.
The tone is dark and rich with great projection which is great for the slap style but also great for old-school pizzicato.
The tension is low and even in the key assembly.
The Raw Gut L and R of the Evah Pirazzi Slap set are made from sheep casings using new techniques that allow a reduction in playing time and increased tuning stability without losing the beauty of the gut sound .
The basic material of A and E consists of a new synthetic material that we have developed together with our supplier and that we obtain exclusively.
This new base material offers an unrivaled wide range of sounds, is absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity, and offers the musician an unprecedented dynamic range.
The A and E chains are then precision wound with a finely polished chrome steel flat wire.
The design of each string has been carefully tailored to the other allowing for effortlessly smooth transitions from string to string without tonal breakage between plain D gut and synthetic A.
