The W.Hoffmann Professional P-114 is an Upright piano that appeals to beginners and professionals alike.
It is the smallest piano in the W.Hoffmann Professional range, yet retains a deep, rich and powerful sound.
The Hammerheads are made from mahogany wood for a colorful, rich, clean and precise sound. The Felt used is New Zealand Sheep's wool, processed in Germany according to a secret traditional recipe.
C. Bechstein is the only European grand and upright piano manufacturer with the know-how to manufacture this important element of grand and upright piano production in-house.
The superbly crafted Soundboard opens up a colorful, tempered spectrum of Singing sounds and an extraordinary dynamic range. The Spruces selected come from Val di Fiemme, Italy, as on the famous Stradivarius Violins. They were grown on a slope and at their own Rhythm, very slowly, to maximize the number of veins. Then dried for 3 months at optimum humidity and temperature. As a result, the sound quality is quite exceptional.
Designed according to procedure C. Bechstein Keyboard and Action Engineering and Geometry procedure, the mechanics are particularly precise. The result is a Dreamy touch and finely nuanced dynamism.
W. Hoffmann produces each of its instruments to rigorous quality standards, while adapting them to different price segments. As a result, each price category reflects the hallmarks of the Bechstein philosophy.
This piano has all the chrome-plated fittings typical of Hoffmann's Professional Series pianos. The frame, also made in C.Bechstein, is entirely silver-plated, a true jewel.
