The Launchpad Pro is an instrument designed for live performance. The new RGB pads light up to match the color of your clips in Ableton Live, so you can see which clips are playing right away.
In Note Mode, the display automatically changes to instruments or drums
Drums: all your sounds are on the matrix, on the sensitive pads that allow you to create dynamic rhythms.
Instruments: the matrix lights up like a chromatic keyboard, you can easily play the notes, melodies and strings.
Play Anything You Want
You can use the matrix with any of your music creation software and external hardware - with Standalone Mode. It doesn't matter what software you use: plug it directly into Logic Pro, for example, and play as on a keyboard; connect the MIDI ports to your Bass Station II and play riffs on your matrix. The possibilities are endless.
Don't lose the thread
The Launchpad Pro is much more than an instrument: it also gives you easy and immediate access to all your mixer controls during the performance, so you don't lose track. No need for a separate mixer mode; Simply hold down a mixer function button (such as mute or volume), make your change and then release the button to return directly to your performance.
Stay in control
Control any effect or instrument during your performance to add interesting and expressive effects like reverb, loop repeats, and filters. For perfect effects transitions, the matrix transforms into eight dynamic vertical faders, with LED feedback - the harder you press the pad, the faster the transition will be.
Plug it in and let's go
The Launchpad Pro is as light and durable as the rest of our Launch line, and it can be connected to many other Launch products, or to the rest of your studio or live setup.
It comes with everything you need to get started, including cables and software, and it can be USB bus powered. It is also completely compatible and does not need any drivers. Just install the software, plug it in and start playing.
