The Fusion S Series heads are GK's brand new Class D heads with a tube preamp.

The rich tube warmth combined with the fast, punchy power section that GK bass amps are known for is an experience like no other.

These high power heads integrate three 12ax7 tubes into the preamp, including one dedicated to the overdrive channel, making it GK's very first tube-driven overdrive channel. The illuminated knobs add an extra level of sophistication and design by not only making it easy to select your tone on stage, but also adding a nice stage presence. Each illuminated button is also press-activated, with additional voicing filters and built-in tonal characteristics. Like the Legacy series, the Fusion S series uses a unique interconnect system that eliminates problems that can develop over time due to the constant vibrations and extreme temperatures that equipment is subjected to during heavy use. Using circuit boards with gold-plated connectors, rather than cables with standard tin connectors, this type of construction provides a cleaner, more reliable sound. Features include GK's classic 4-band EQ, full tube overdrive with tone shaping, additional push-button voice filters such as "Bump", "Contour" and "Presence", a balanced DI with pre and post equalizer, an effects loop, aux and headphones. connections and load capacity selection, to deliver optimum power in 2, 2.7, 4 and 8 ohm speaker configurations.
