The Fender Custom Shop presents the Late '62 Stratocaster Relic.
A little over 60 years after the original model, this guitar takes again the aesthetics, the sound and the quality of the Stratocaster produced at the beginning of the year 1962.
Its body in 2 pieces of selected alder is finished with a Nitrocellulose varnish slightly aged, in order to best embody a Vintage instrument. This vintage-inspired instrument is suitable for today's guitarist, with a thin neck with an "Oval C" profile, a radius of 9.5 for better playing comfort, aided by 21 frets 6105. Obviously, to amplify everything Nothing better than hand-wound '60 - '63 pickups by the Custom Shop. Other high-end features include Vintage Modified # 2 wiring with a Tone-Saver (eliminates tone loss when the volume is turned down), Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, trunk and Certificate of Authenticity.
