It contains a host of the most authentic phase effects from the seventies era.
The secret to the PT999's timeless sound is that its circuitry is exactly the same as when it was introduced in 1974. While many "reissued" effects fall far short of the original designs, Maxon has taken great care in keep the Phase Tone unchanged for almost 45 years.
