056 Flat Tops strings are designed to significantly reduce unwanted finger noises. Combining the proven sound of phosphor bronze with a smoother feel and quieter playing experience, they're excellent for recording and slide guitar. The Flat Tops are made from a high carbon steel core and phosphor bronze winding wire, which is then precision ground and polished, leaving behind a semi-flat string with a feel smooth and beautifully balanced sound.
