Ernie Ball M-Steel electric guitar strings are made from a patented Super Cobalt alloy wrapped around a hexagonal "Maraging" steel wire, producing a richer, fuller tone with a powerful bass response.

M-Steel smooth electric guitar strings are made from a specially hardened steel for maximum resistance to fatigue.

Electric flat strings also use a patented steel wrap around the end of the ball which reduces slippage, breakage and stays in tune better than conventional flat strings. Here in 011/048.
