With gold-coated electret condenser capsules, a frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz and 24-bit, 96kHz converters, iRig Mic Cast HD delivers detailed recordings with crystal-clear clarity despite its pocket-sized format. iRig Mic Cast HD also offers switchable directional features, ideal for videos and interviews with the front or display camera. With the cardioid and figure-of-eight directional characteristics, noises outside the axis are attenuated, resulting in a high level of speech intelligibility. When switched to omnidirectional (F + R) mode, the recording field is very wide, ideal for recording meetings and conferences. The iRig Mic Cast HD can be attached to almost any standard mobile phone in seconds thanks to a magnetic snap system. Lightning, USB-C and micro-USB cables are included. So you can get started with any iPhone, iPad or Android device right out of the box. iRig Mic Cast HD is compatible with any application that records audio. The equipment is completed by an integrated headphone output which allows monitoring of the direct or processed signal.
