The EVOLVE 50 portable column system is a three-component speaker system powered by a 1000W Class D amplifier and driven by the Electro-Voice QuickSmartDSP.
The system consists of a 15mm wood-powered subwoofer enclosure that houses a 12-inch subwoofer capable of a functional frequency output up to 37Hz.
The connection of the two-way aluminum pole to the subwoofer is secured with a magnet, and the column array is held by gravity to the sub-pole. The signal is routed internally to the components.
Eight 3.5 "neodymium loudspeakers in the column array coupled with the 12" subwoofer deliver up to 127dB SPL. The eight composite waveguides control the high frequencies with 120 ° horizontal coverage and 40 ° asymmetric vertical coverage (down) to ensure suitable output for both seated and standing audiences. The array of sub-poles and columns is prepackaged in a transport bag.
The processing engine allows easy configuration via four presets (Music, Live, Speech and Club), a three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets (store and recall settings), an exit delay, a power supply phantom (+15 V), visual monitoring of limiter status, input level control and level meters, and master volume control to ensure an optimal gain structure.
The new Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) technology for wireless configuration, control and monitoring of up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously. High-resolution Bluetooth audio streaming adds convenience for wireless music playback in breakout rooms, intermissions and musical accompaniment.
