BeatBuddy is aimed at guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, and anyone who needs rhythmic accompaniment that is easy to set up and control.
The pedal can be chained with other effects pedals and connected to a guitar amp. It comes with 8 pre-programmed kits (including the beatbox) for different styles and up to 1000 songs can be programmed for each of the 8 styles (8000 songs) via software supplied with the pedal. A mini-USB port is present for this purpose. An SD card slot is also integrated.
In terms of settings, the BeatBuddy has tempo controls (tap tempo or potentiometer, volume, style (rock, jazz, pop, hip hop ...) and a stomp button to be able to switch between rhythms for them. verses and choruses, add a break, make a transition between verse and chorus, etc. You can also connect a footswitch to add claps, cymbals, etc.
The pedal offers stereo inputs and outputs, a headphone output and is powered by 9V.
