Producing crisp sonic focus and full-bodied volume for the heavy drummer, StaveCraft snares are a surprising addition to any professional player's sonic environment. Each 25mm thick drum starts from two layers of meticulously bevelled Makha solid wood stick. Using a principle exclusive to these snare drums, an additional staff of exotic Thai oak is inserted into the central Dado channel formed by each staff. This "Dado-Loc" seal increases the total resistance of the shell by 50%.
The barrel is then slatted to a perfectly round 25mm thickness, hand-lacquered, and fitted with our swivel tube lugs and MasterCast die-cast counter arches for more volume and precision of adjustment.
