The MXR M87 offers a studio-quality compressor in pedal format.
It is very transparent and has a VU meter indicating the level of compression.
Ideal for bass, it also works great with a guitar. The compressor plays an important role in the bass signal. It eliminates the effect of fuzzy bass sound that often appears after an hour of playing.
